Matsya Yoga
Matsya yoga is formed when the following conditions are met:
- Ascendant must have a benefic.
- 9th house from ascendant must be occupied by a benefic
- There must be benefic and malefic planets in the 5th house from the ascendant
- Malefics must occupy the 4th and 8th house from the ascendant
The effect of Matsya yoga is that the person having this yoga in the horoscope will be a knower of Time, and will be kind, virtuous, intelligent, strong, beautiful, famous, learned and austere.

In this case, the conditions are being met as under:
- 9th house has Jupiter, a benefic
- Ascendant has Moon, a benefic
- 5th house has Sun, a malefic and Mercury and Venus which are benefics
